Clinical Supervision

Guidance that builds confidence, competence, and ethical practice for emerging clinicians.

Our Counselor

Hello, and welcome. I’m Okovie Ulukpo—a Licensed Professional Counselor, Master Addictions Counselor, Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor, Registered Nurse, Certified Health Coach, and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Beyond the credentials, I’m a clinician committed to growth, guiding others in healing, and helping emerging professionals step confidently into their roles as helpers.

My clinical journey began in traditional settings, but it was my intensive DBT training (2012–2014)—working with individuals diagnosed with personality disorders—that shaped my supervision approach. That experience deepened my respect for structure, mindfulness, and evidence-based care. Over time, I’ve also embraced expressive and somatic methods like play therapy, sound therapy, and expressive therapies, recognizing that healing often extends beyond words.

I bring this perspective to supervision: a balance of clinical rigor and creativity, rooted in cultural humility and curiosity. Whether you’re refining interventions, strengthening ethical judgment, or exploring advanced modalities, I’m here to support your growth every step of the way.

Note: All supervision sessions are available in person or via secure telemedicine for your convenience.
